CodedColor PhotoStudio Pro

Good idea, but we already have a huge set of tutorials and al lengthy handbook. CodedColor has so many features, I wouldn't know here to start. But we noticed another problem: the help index is in german (thanx Murphy), so please download a new help file here and unzip it into C:\ProgramFiles/CodedColor:

You can also set the option in the program settings to completely close the software, but this is not recommendend if you plan to use the CodedColor database broken link detection.

It's only a trial version, until you fill in the form under "Help > Registration" and get the license by email.

Not really practical. CodeColor keeps a database with thumbs and EXIF information, pointing to images on your local drive.

You have to register from CodedColor "Help > Registration", like it says in the GOTD description, and wait for the license email.

For those of you, who did not get a code, here's a last minute collection of all possible remedies we could think of. Our server has been up & running for 3 consecutive days without any downtime, and is still receiving registrations. So check the following:

1. The license eMail is sent immediately. Check your spam filter.

2. Maybe your mail provider is blocking it. Try with a different email adress.

3. Make sure your firewall allows CodedColor to access the internet. Turn off any firewall to be sure! If CodedColor says "no connection", then it might be right.

LAST NOT LEAST, THE MOST FREQUENT MISTAKE:
4. In the registration dialog you must hit "Register Now", not "Ok"!!

Every new update we are adding more RAW filetypes.

Register the english version, then go to our homepage www.codedcolor.com and download & install the German version. The key is also valid for the German version!

It doesn't take up much room, so you may want to just ignore it if you don't find it useful.

All menu items and buttons show a hint in the statusbar. And we already grouped many menu items in wizard dialogs. Just play around with it for a while, and you'll find your way.

It only takes this long until the thumbs are created for all images. Next entry into the folder is very speedy.

You installed several programs: CodedColor PhotoStudio 6.1 AND CodedColor Publisher 3.0.8. Look in the Program group and start with CodedColor PhotoStudio. The other is a print layouter for postcards, photobooks and likewise.
